Our Workshops
Welcome to Creative Workshops at Beam Works!
Every week we're hosting a fun, creative Saturday Art Club exploring art and creativity in all its forms. These sessions are led by local artists and will provide you with the perfect place to explore art for well-being and develop new creative skills in our studio space. Each workshop is limited to 8 persons and places are available on a first come first served basis. Saturday Art Club will take place every Saturday morning from 10-12 and launches on 28th April with Lino Printing. We will be using recycled materials where possible every week and refreshments will be available too. Saturday Art Club is suitable for adults and young people over the age of 14 years.
Lino Printing
28th April 2025 10-12
In this two-hour session and with all materials provided, you will learn how to design and cut your lino before you create print after print! This session is suitable for complete beginners and those with experience. It will be a relaxed, sociable experience with tea & coffee provided.
The cost of this workshop is £10 per person (limited to 8 persons per session).

Gnome Painting
17th May 2025 10-12
We've got gnomes of all sizes and we're gonna paint them! In this two-hour session and with all materials provided, you will choose your gnome and get to work repainting and decorating them. There will be lots of inspiration to help you choose your theme and you will have a unique gnome to show off at home!

Junk Journalling
3rd May 2025 10-12
In this 2-hour session you will be able to dig in to our stash of materials and create a cool, colourful entry in your journal or sketchbook. There will be lots of info about techniques and the benefits of journalling all over a cuppa and great chats!

Collage
10th May 2025 10-12
In this two hour session you will learn new techniques to make exciting collage art work combining images, shapes, words, texture and drawing and paint techniques . All materials will be provided for this workshop including the use of a printer.

Still Life Painting
26th May 2025 14:00-17:00
Join us for a still life painting class! Inspired by Poppy-Lee Jennings’ botanicals, we’ll be learning how to draw, build, and colour a still life painting. There will be fresh flowers, complimentary tea & coffee, and it’s BYOB (bring your own booze). Grab a friend and a bottle of wine and enjoy a bank holiday afternoon of creativity.
The cost of this workshop is £25 per person and all materials are provided.
